Introducing the Tyee 14 Work Boat – a new Classic Whitehall Spirit® rowboat that retains all the basics of our Classic models yet is a simpler and more affordable boat.

The construction of the Tyee 14 Work Boat is cost-effective to produce resulting in a much lower purchase price. The interior gel-coat hull finish is similar to many small fiberglass dinghys, reducing labor costs.

Instead of expensive teak, the Work Boat uses Sapele, a high-quality yet affordable hardwood that is attractive and easy to work with. The simplified gunnel construction is faster to build but just as robust, using the same copper riveted fasteners found in our premium Classic Teak models.

The Tyee 14 Work Boat can be used for rowing, fishing, transporting gear, or rowboat rentals. It can also accommodate optional slide seat sculling gear, including bronze folding outriggers. Its spacious interior offers ample room for tools, fishing gear or supplies. Rowers, fitness enthusiasts, professional fishing guides and entire families alike will love this model.
