The builder is Whitehall Rowing & Sail whose fine boats feature exquisitely molded lapstrake fiberglass hulls with impeccable teak woodwork with copper brass and bronze fittings. The mast and boom are varnished Sitka spruce with teak blocks, synthetic hemp lines and Dacron sails, all of which are built to last for generations.

A further option is a sliding seat rowing unit with hinged bronze outriggers and open water sculling oars. As well as being a fun sailboat this is a great rowboat or sculling boat that can also carry an outboard motor on the transom. The Westcoast 11'6" offers far more than other boats of its size.
