And this quote speaks to me of how great it has been to have been graced with the many customers over the past 24 years who’ve put their trust in us and ordered their boats without seeing them first or even meeting us. We’re coming up on our company’s next anniversary in early June. What an incredible 24 years it has been. Thanks for being here with us.

The summer season is nearly here. Lots of us are diligently rowing those pounds off so we’ll fit into our summer clothes better. Right? For myself, it feels great to tighten up the core muscles again and the extra energy is noticeable too! Does anyone have anything to add to this? If so, we’d love to hear from you on how you’re feeling about yourself now. Rowing is good for the heart, lowers blood pressure and generally keeps things moving well so helps body/mind issues and recoveries from almost anything. If you have a story about this, no matter how brief, and can share it with us we’ll post it on the Rowforhealth.com website. Motivation is often needed to get into the spirit and row. This site is all about inspiration to row.

Looking for a New or Previously Owned Whitehall Boat?

If you’re on a quest to find the dream-boat and make sailing and rowing a reality in your life, we have a good selection of brand new Classic models available and one of these could be yours. Several customers also have boats that they’ve decided need to be sold this year and they’ve contacted us to get the word out. These boats are well maintained and virtually new in all respects. As a result do not expect prices on them to be below 20 to 25% less than our current pricing as shown online. Triflers need not apply!

Half Model of the Whitehall Spirit® 17

The lines of a classic Whitehall Spirit® 17 are a joy to look at from any angle. Our fiberglass wizard Kurt Beacham and Production Manager Colin Rolls have been working on a pet project for a quite while and have just now completed an exquisite scaled down half model of this design. Here it is displayed by Whitehall’s office manager Yvonne Soutar

The half model is cast in fiberglass and like the full sized models will last at least 100 years. It’s replicated at 1.5 inches to the foot. The hull is just over 25 inches long. The background is flag blue .It’s framed in teak and the overall size is about 36”x 14”. A beautiful brass plaque is also underway.

It’s a thing of beauty. I can’t wait to mount one on my office wall for some three dimensional eye candy. We will be offering these for sale but have yet to work out the price until we have built a few. Give us a call if you would like one as we already have a waiting list coming together.

Whitehall at the Victoria Floating Boat Show

Whitehall’s display at this years floating boat show had both the locals and visitors drooling over all the boats tied up at the downtown docks located right in front of the Empress hotel. To give the affair a blast of color we produced a new Tango 17™ with a bright red interior . It’s a real eye stopper.

Rowing Reconnects Us…

Rowing is a great way to see nature and for Marie and I our favorite local spot is the Discovery Island group. It’s about an hours run from our berth in Victoria harbour aboard our sailboat Physis and last time we took along a the new Tango 17™. Here on the southern British Columbia coast in early May nature is nicely getting underway. Rowing quietly around the islands looking at the wildlife, exploring our favorite beaches and seeing nature ‘s new growth is a privilege we deeply appreciate. Here are a few shots.
